Hello All,

This is what I know so far. I am running 98 SE. I use Office 2000. I can open my Excel files no problem, When I attempt another function within Excel such as page view it freezes the computer. One time it froze when I tried to close the page view. At the time of the freeze the cursor moves but no other action. I also ran a repair from the Office discs. Still the freeze occurs.

Thanks for you help. Any other questions you can think of let me know.

Let me be more specific regarding the action that freezes Excel. When I attempt 'print preview' either by toolbar or menu, it freezes.

Might be unrelated, but try searching for a file called *.xlb and then rename it to *.old and then launch Excel and try again. This is the toolbar customisation file, so you will lose any customisations, but this is often the cause of memory problems in Excel.
