Excel 2000 is pasting an image!

Hi,

First post, please bear with me.

I have a user that is using Office 2000 on Windows 2K. When she tries to copy and paste in excel, it's pastes the whole book as an image (picture) as though she has pressed the print screen button (she hasn't!). I have uninstalled office and re-installed it with no effect. Unfortunatley this is not ALWAYS the case. Has any one ever come across this?

copy/paste what? (text/images, from MS Word/ some other program)?

Sorry, Data from within the sheet and pasted to another cell in the same sheet. She is not copying anything from any other Office App.
