Excel 2000 Full Screen Mode

A user is trying to open a spreadsheet he has used before, but it's invisible unless he chooses Full Screen mode. Is there a way to fix this? He apparently is not getting this problem in other spreadsheets and the spreadsheet that he is having a problem with, is working ok on other PC's. His temp files are clean, and rebooting doesn't solve the problem.
