I am trying to find id and password typed on my computer 3 days ago. will help me find address on yahoo. need info

Find an id and password you typed on your computer? That's not possible.

But where exactly did you type this ID and password and why do you need it? What do you mean it will help you find an address on yahoo?

in dos editor it is possible to track all entries on computer, is it possible to track all entries on win 98.
I need to find password and ID on email address from thursday.

Are you saying you need the password and ID for an email account like at yahoo email? Is this your email account or someone elses? Regardless, you won't find it in your computer. And if it is someone elses account (not saying it is) then you don't want to be asking anyone here how to hack into it.

Hello Unpredictable,

If you are asking whether Windows somehow logs keystrokes for later recall, the anser is no. You may be thinking of DOSKEY which records commands typed at the DOS prompt so they can be easily re-used...but this won't help you find any keystrokes used in Windows (as in logging on to a secure site from a Web browser). I seriously doubt you're going to be able to find a username and password that were typed in your system last Thursday. However, for future reference you can obtain keystroke logging software for Windows. Try "Spector" which is available at:

Good luck.

Chris
