I am running windows 2000 server. Whenever I re-boot the server at least 20 errors are generated to the event viewer.
The source is mostly the Service Control Manager. The errors vary from time outs to the network connection service failing to start.
We are not currently having any problems with the server. I am new to network admin and am responsible for the upkeep of the servers.
Are these errors something I should be researchiing and trying to correct even though no visible problems exist currently?
Are these errors normal?
Any insight would be great!

It would not hurt to investigate what is causing these errors. Sometimes one error will create more than one event viewer event (knock on effect).

Also to sort out these errors now, will mean that it would be easier to track an error that does have an effect on your server in the future (ie you dont have to go through all those events trying to trace which event is causing the problem).
