Event log error Source "Application Hang" ID 1002

I'm getting the following event log error and as a result cannot run my Tiger Woods game online because the page file fills up very fast ... memory leak perhaps?

"Hanging application TW2004.exe, version 3.2.7.1, hang module hungapp, version 0.0.0.0, hang address 0x00000000."

Does anyone have a clue what this means?

I am getting this problem too, which is causing my explorer.exe to constantly restart.

and download the patch. It may not work but is the best place to start.

I already had the patch but I've also fixed the problem.

I just messed with the video settings on the game. It was really strange ... I changed the video settings in the game to not utilize the video card (fixed or software mode), played it a bit at that setting and also connected online which I think was where the application hang error occured before. Then I switched back to the 3d card setting again and everything works just fine. It must just be a bug in the application and or its compatibility with directx 9.0b and the newest video drivers I downloaded.
