One of our users has been getting the following error repeatedly on her PC for about two weeks:
Event ID: 7032
Type: Error
Description: The Service Control Manager tried to take a corrective action (Restart the service) after the unexpected termination of the Windows Management Instrumentation service, but this action failed with the following error: An instance of the service is already running.
The Windows Management Instrumentation service is critical to the PC. This sounds like a big problem, but Microsoft's Knowledgebase has nothing about this Event ID. I have been considering going to a restore point that was prior to the first appearance of this message. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
