I'm receiving the following error in Event Viewer on a Win2k Server. I extensively searched the Microsoft KB and my Windows 2000 Server Bible without success in resolving this error from occuring.

Description:
The computer PALM2 tried to connect to the server \\PALM using the trust relationship established by the PALM domain. However, the computer lost the correct security identifier (SID) when the domain was reconfigured. Reestablish the trust relationship.

Any ideas or input would be greatly appreciated.

Remove computer from Domain and back into workgroup. Delete computer from Active Directory.
Add the computer back to the domain.

Hi Mark,

It worked! Thanks! I tried everything that Microsoft's KB's threw at me! The only bummer of removing it from the domain and then re-adding it, was I had to put everything back from the other profile, but at least the errors went away. I voted for you on the post being helpful.
