Ok so last week I had a Hard drive go bad in the Exchange box. No biggie Dell Sent me a new one. It took a long time to rebuild but it did. During this time I was unable to get a good backup of the STORE. When it did finish I took a backup of the Mailboxes with no problem but the Store backup kept giving me Event Is 474..
After some digging it appears that means the Store is corrupt. Problem because of the rebuild I was not able to get a good store backup
I read that thee are 21 options.
1 - Use esutil to repair and then defrag but that can be bad because it simply deletes the corrupted part.
2 - Mount a second Info Store back it up to ensure the error does not happen and then simply move the email boxes over.
Any thoughts?
