Hello all,
Quick question, I need to add an ethernet port to some 2600 series routers and am not sure what the part number for these cards are. Thanks in advance for any replies.

I have a four ports card. When I do a "sh diag", it shows the part number is 800-02027-04. It is a Ethernet port card - Not fast Ethernet.

I don't think that the WIC1-ENET will work in 2600.

I have used NM-1E or NM-1FE-TX.

4 port card is NM-4E.

Thanks all for the replies, I think the NM-1E is what I am looking for. Trying to make a cheap firewall out of 2611 just sitting on a customers shelf. Hey Burt one of these days I am going to post a cooking question just to see if you reply, just kidding, keep up the good work.

haha burt would be the man when cooking, busting out weird foreign spices to make a recipe delicious.

::tastes the food:: duh it doesn't work, you need to config it with saffron!

i have two wic1-enetes in my 1760... ill put one of them in a 2600 i have and tell you if it works .

Hi plshlpme
Don't risk breaking the card or the router! It's not going to work! You will need a NM XX-XX for the 2600.The Wic-1enet is strictly for the 1700 series.
