eth0 changes ip on WAN connection on Cisco 677

i have ADSL connection, i wanted to change the local internal ip address. But i dont know what i changed now every time it boots its ok the eth0 ip is the regular ip i typed. But when it logs to the wan eth0 changes to the isp dynamic ip? how could this happends?

what do i have to change?

It sounds like you might have either ip address negotiated or ip address unnumbered on your ethernet interface.

On the other hand if you are pinging the eth0 interface from a different network or the subnet masks are inconsistent then the routing table might be sending the return pings to the internet rather than to your local network.

If you could post a little more info about your config I will try to help you more.
