I am passing a string to a page and using escape(string) to allow for spaces etc.

Works well on my development box using IIS, but when I upload it to the server I get a VB syntax error on 'escape'

What the heck is going on???

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Your problem is that the escape(string) function is from JScript. Of course the VBScript interpreter would have a problem with it.
