Does anyone know if there is a mis-dial prevention PI patch or similar for release 3.0? I've not had much luck with keyword searches on ESPL trying to locate one ... thanks in advance!

How would the system know if it is a misdial? What are you trying to block?

Still maintain it is hard to block this 100% accurate. If someone is trying to dial from a smoke filled room, on the verge of passing out, they may press all kinds of buttons afterwards without meaning to, or in a hurry press 2 keys at once (9112 for example). Are you going to block them?
I do understand the frustration of mis-dialed 911 calls!

Trvlr1, If it's like mis-dial prevention in 5.0, it introduces a short timer to allow the user to recognize they've dialed incorrectly and hang up, and possible repeat digit (IE 9111) interception.

Buddy, thanks - I'll see if the customer has PASS and then open a case, if they want to go that way. I couldn't find that patch in my records anywhere, but I was pretty sure one existed hehe.

OK so it is dependant on the user .... that makes more sense and should help.
