Errors while installing

I've just been installing mandrake 8.1 and throughout the installation I get bunches of errors with different packages, not sure what they were but just said yes to keep installing. one was enlightnment and so on. Could it be problems with the cds or something else?

could possibly be problems with the CD media, but cannot be certain unless you post the exact error messages. AV
