We have the following errors come up after rebooting and IE6 is being configured:

1) Unable to find the function "DllRegisterServer in the file "C:\WINNT\System32\comcat.dll"
2) An error has occurred while setting up "C:\WINNT\System32\asctrls.ocx".
3) An error has occurred while setting up

This is a NT4 SP6a machine. The reason why the upgraded to IE6 was that adobe acrobat reader would not open within IE6

Find and delete the files and then reinstall IE6. I had the same problem and this fixed it.

Hi thatrenowned!
