Every time I start up my pc I get an error window that says "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive A:" I have googled this error message and I get repairs for "There is no disk in the drive Please insert a disk into drive \Device\Harddisk2\DR5" Which has nothing to do with my problem. I did find one thing awhile back that stated that it had to do with quicktime, and for me to clean out the history on it and disable start up and it worked for a day. Now I am still getting same window and quicktime is not on start up. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

I should also note that building a clean user profile might resolve this without the need for disabling the floppy and/or leaving the mru cleaner active. if the same error reappeared after a clean profile, and you dont ever access the floppy, then an application is surely to blame.

star for linney for going the "extra mile.
