I'm trying to use the cipher.exe command to encrypt some data. however, when I use cipher /e /a test2\testfile.txt it says:

testfile.txt: keyset does not exist

so I tried to use the /k parameter to generate a keyset and when I try that I get the following error:

overlapped I/O operation in progress.

can anyone help me out?

Type Cipher in the Help and Support program and look at the examples of the command use at the end of the command line details.
