We have two domains, domaina and domainb. Domainb is a child to domaina. When I am logged onto domaina from a workstation, I can go to network neighborhood and see domainb. I can double click and see all of the computers on domainb. However, if I try to access any computer (including the member server) on domain b while logged into domain a, I get this error:

\\Serverb is not available.
There are currently no logon servers available to service teh logon request.

There is no policy set up to prevent access to this server. This just started doing this out of the blue last week. Incidentally I can access either server from the other server. This problem only exists on workstations. My logon credentials are admin priviledges, so I don't think that is the problem.

Any suggestions?

Kindly check DNS and delegate DNS on parent domain.
endure there is no dublication of computer account. in parent and child.
