I am writing an App for a small company and when I compile it on my computer it runs just fine. But when I install the program on their machines I get a run time error at start up. Is it a .ocx problem or what could it be. The message is not very discriptive. [sig][/sig]

Are you deploying the application using Package and Deployment wizard? haven't you changed the ocx file on your computer after you have deployed it to the other machine?

No and No! I wasn't even aware that a Package and Deployment Wizard existed....Does it come with Pro. Ed? By using the Wizard will it make deployment smoother. I'm used to Java. [sig][/sig]

Go to Add-Ins, Add-In Manager, double-click on Package and Deployment Wizard and click the Okay button.

The wizard is pretty easy to use but it isn't nearly as effective as the stand-alone packagers. If you want to do the job right every time I recommend that you buy a copy of InstallShield Pro 6.2.
