Error when change to "explorer view" in SPS2003

Hi there,

Server side w2k3, sps2003, sql2000.
Client side either W98 with IE6SP1, or WXP with IE6SP1.

Recently found that some of the machines (happened on both W98 & WXP) cannot switched to explorer view, IE will prompted "need windows web services components or IE5 or greater".

However I couldn't find the pattern for those problematic machines.

Wondering what's wrong on those machines? Many thanks!

This was already discussed in thread820-892804, it is a webfolders support issue (you need on your client for the explorer view) that is not the same for each windows operating sytem - explorer -office combination %-)
