error vpn client with different users

Hello,

On win XP Home I have VPN Client 7.0. XP has 3 users, all administrators. One of these users has been created yesterday. When I start the vpn client with this user it works.

With the 2 other users it doesn't. The error says it has something to do with esapi. What is this? I can't find anything about this on the net.

Have you installed the XP patches for the VPN client?

ESAPI is a component used for some of the VPN encryption.

The patches are installed.

Could this has something to do with corrupted Winsock? The laptop with this problem had some problems with this. These are solved, but this one not yet.

Have you uninstalled and reinstalled the client since your other problems were fixed? If not I recommend you do so.

I have never encountered your problem, but I don't have any XP machines, nor do I have any situations where more than one person uses the client on the same machine. Most of my users are Windows 98.
