error - storage control block address is invalid 1

Backup exec 9, OS is W2k
I had this last month and put it down to a bad tape, now I have it again, does anyone know if this is likley to be data on the disk or tape related?

It sounds like a bad tape. Erase it and refresh the media and see what happens.

I recommend labeling it as well...
