Under Windows NT 4.0 it was organized RAID of the array 5 level.
Then have added the array 1 level (mirror).
After have added the array 1 level MS SQL Server 7.0 refuses to work
with the array of a level 1 (mirror). At attempt to create the file on this array
( For example, backup the file) occurs error message:
OSBC SQL State 42000
" The volume on device " name_device " is not part of a multifamily (RAID) media set.
Use with format to form a new RAID set. "
The arrays use hard disks with the different physical characteristics
( Different value of round per minute in the different arrays).
Question: What to do in such situation.
