About 3 out of every 5 times I boot my laptop up (docked or on the lap) and start Outlook 2003 I get an error message that states something like "outlook was closed improperly. checking data file "mailbox.rmw2" for errors-and it gives a time required of anywhere from 6 minutes to 10 minutes and usually takes what it says it will take to get it done while I just twiddle my thumbs.
I have tried closing out by "X"-ing out, and by doing a file>exit type close and still get this error window upon the majority of start ups.
I have tried making sure that it is not in the middle of a send/receive operation when I shut down.
What can you tell me about this or what other symptoms do I need to give to get some opinions?
