Can any one help me. I came across the following 2 err messages err9998 and err9999. Any idea what this means. I rebooted the PBX and the error disappeared.
Some time ago I sent a question to Nortel regarding these messages, and the answer was something about background software diagnostics against Orion-sets. If these messages appears in large scale, the customer probably have problems using their phones, and you need to do some more investigation.
If there are only a few messages, forget them.
Both of these ERR messages 9998 & 9999 are associated with a background software diagnostic. The messages occur when the data for an Orion digital telephone is being checked. It indicates that the diagnostic is being run
