crw32.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created. I am using crystal 8.5.
I got the above error again. Now it happened when I
am changing the database i.e.,i opened the report, removed the tables from the report. want to add tables from the new database. it is giving that error.
Did you go into Event Viewer and see if an application error was generated?
If so, please copy the message here.
PS.
To change the database for a report to one with the same structure but a different name use Set Location.
Database/Set Location, browse to the the new database dsn, select the table, and click set. You may also have to set the alias if the table names have changed. Database/Set Alias in Crystal Menu.
If you remove tables in use on a report, the fields for those tables are removed.
Also, try uninstalling Crystal 8.5. Reboot and then reinstall Crystal 8.5 and choose Custom, select all options and see if things improve.
