I have two errors messages showing up on some of my windows 2000 computers when the computer boots up.

Message one

"invalid electronic serial number" I can still access win 2000 if I press F1, but I need to know how to get rid of this error message.

Message two

"invalid time and date..." again If I press F1 the boot goes through to windows 2000. The thing is that the date and time are correct on the computer. What would I need to do here.

Answer 1: Call Compaq. Usually the necessary number is one a white sticker on the back of the case. This is not a Windows XP message, but a Compaq BIOS message, and a BIOS entry needs to be made.

Answer 2: This again is indicative of a BIOS problem:
