Error Loading Print Driver

I’m receiving an error sporadically when printing to our Novell Network HP LaserJet 5SI printer. The driver that I am using is the HP LaserJet 5SI Mopier. I am running on a Windows 2000 professional workstation (this error has also appeared when using a Windows 95 workstation). The error I receive is error number 1958 “Error loading printer driver”.

You may want to try removing the reference to the printer information contained in the report. Look at faq184-581. Mike Gagnon

I'd also try using a newer / different Printer driver - Windows 2000 changed how drivers were written, and although you were suppose to be able to use the "old" drivers, sometimes they were written wrong and simply didn't work!
