hi guys i have this script that grabs links from dmoz..

it shows this on directory

Couldn't connect to dmoz.org:80 : IO::Socket::INET: Timeout

does that mean its an error in my module or dmoz is getting too populated with searches that very second??

Check it out with
[tt] telnet dmox.org 80[/tt]
from the command line. If that works, it's your script. If it doesn't, your problem is elsewhere. Is your ip feed direct or are you going through a proxy or firewall. If so, does your script know about the proxy/firewall? "As soon as we started programming, we found to our surprise that it wasn't as
easy to get programs right as we had thought. Debugging had to be discovered.
I can remember the exact instant when I realized that a large part of my life
from then on was going to be spent in finding mistakes in my own programs."
