I'm trying to create a dataset in the Dataset Designer. I have my database connection set up correctly, but when I try to pull the table into the dataset designer, I get the following error message:

Failed to merger object(s).
The parameter 'sectionGroupName' is invalid.
Parameter name: sectionGroupName.

Also, when I try to open the dataset designer for an existing dataset (.xsd file) a blank box appears where the table should be. If I click on the blank box, I get the error message:

Mouse click operation failed.
Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.

I've tried searching the KB for these errors but I can't find anything. Does anyone know what could be causing this and how I can fix it?

Thanks!

A computer only does what you actually told it to do - not what you thought you told it to do.

Well, the first part of the problem was due to a bad app.config file. With that fixed, I no longer get the 'sectionGroupName' error. However, I still can't see any objects when I drag a table to the designer. If I close the file and reopen it, I get a white area where the table should be and I still get the error message when I click on it. Any thoughts?
