Error Creating Console

I'm posting this here because I don't believe it to be an IE issue. One of my users has a laptop (win2k, IE5.5SP2) and a desktop (WinNT 4SP6, IE5.5SP2). On the users desktop going to

http://www.cherrypoint.usmc.mil

works just fine. However if the user goes to the same address on his laptop he gets the following error...

Window Title: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no msawt in shared library path.

Error: Error Creating Console


Now I know that is has to do with that sweet Link menu on the site. Is this a permissions/registry issue with clases and/or plugins. No user has admin privs. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Check if the Java Console is enabled under Internet Options - Advanced.

That link menu is all javascript so there should be no plugin involved. joegz

Well I checked that and it was enabled. However it didn't resolve the problem. I re-installed the VM and all is well
