Hi,
I am having a problem copying a file on a server (to a different folder on the same server) from my computer. I have Win2K (sp3). I close the file I'm working on, try to copy it from one folder to another, and get "cannot copy this file - the source or destination file may be in use." Same thing happens on a coworker's machine that is identical to mine (same OS, hardware, etc). But a 3rd coworker (also Win2K, but sp4), copies the same file to the same destination I try and it works just fine - even if she has the file open!! Very strange. We have verified that the file is NOT open by anybody for editing, and it's not listed in ServerMgr as "In Use". Any ideas on why we're getting a sharing violation on a file that's not in use to begin with? Thanks.
