Error Connecting Report "XXXX" to the Server - Windows XP

Windows X Pro box, trying to run Custom report written in CR8 but called from a third party front end. Error reads as follows: Error Connecting Report "TestReport" to the Server, then it displays my username,password,servername and tables... Any ideas anyone???
