error communicating with the ole server or activex control

I created a program and am installing it on many user's machines. It works beautifully except on one user's machine. On this machine every time I open it I receive n error message - error communicating with the activex control or ole server... . when i try to do anything on the form i get the same error. my be and fe are split up so i thought it was having trouble communicating over the network so i put everything on her machine but to no avail. i reinstalled office xp and i still have the error. i performed the windows update and it didn't change anything.

What could it be???

Sometimes, the Norton AntiVirus script blocking engine is the cause of this error.
