#Error - Clean up

Hi there:
Is there a function in Access where I can write a query to check for Errors in a field and clean up the data, as I am importing the file from excel. For eg: Excel has ISERROR.

The only thing I can think of is bringing it to a staging table, performing your data hygeine, and then appending to your destination table. You could write a macro to handle this.
