Error 93 Media Mismatch

I can not do a restore because the recorded id and the external id are not the same. Veritas sees the tape as a different number than it is and won't restore the data on it. Is there a way to make NBU still restore the data or a way to make NBU see the tape as the correct tape id.
 
May seem drastic but expire the image, delete the media number and then import it as if it was a strange tape. Note you need to do all the tape in the image set.
 
Yea, I just got off the phone with Veritas and that is what they suggested. Giving it a try now
 
Heres the solution. Since NBU sees the two tapes with different external and recorded id numbers you delete both tapes from the media and eject them. you then recreate one of the tapes but assign it to the slot of the other tape that it was mismatched with. Then do the same for the other tape and you are able to get to the data on the tapes.
