I have a database that maybe 3 different people will be in at time. It is on a network drive.

However, yesterday when I tried to open it, I got the following:
The database had been placed in a state by user <name> on machine <name> that prevents it from being opened or locked. (Error 3734)

I'm having trouble finding anyone else that had this problem. But I'm guessing it is due to one of the users creating a new record in a bound form while I was trying to open the database...?

Anybody seen this or have any pointers?

I also had this problem. However, i solved it by using the back-up i made moments before the problem happened (phew!)

The problem, is for sure, because it is on a network!
