Error 2046 when using DoCmd.OpenForm

I have developed an application in Visual Basic that opens an Access form. It was working prior to upgrading to Access 2000. Now I get an error message that openform is unavailable. What am I missing to open a form from VB.

Hmmmmm . . . . Exactly how are you opening the form?

My first suspicion is Library References, but need the above to make determination . . .

I have declared appaccess as Access.Application

appaccess.DoCmd.Openform "formname"
