We have a job that runs as a owner that is NOT an NT account.

The job logging (under the Advanced tab on the job step properties) to the .log text file fails when the job runs on the Windows 2003 operating system, though succeeds when executing under Windows 2000.

Can anyone shed any light on this, as to how to make the job run successfully on a Win2k3 OS??? Thanks in advance.

Are you trying to log to a local drive or to a network share?

hi,

thanks for the reply. It is a local drive that we're trying to access.

I would assume that's it's a NTFS permissions issue. What are teh NTFS settings on the folder?
