I was having problems with Exchange being sluggish so I decided to run the optimizer. I remember running it in the past with no ill affects. Anyways after running none of the exchange services will start now. Does anyone have a clue?

Do you have any more info on this problem? Any clues in event viewer?

Also what OS and SPs are you running?

Thanks for the reply. I ended up figuring it out. For some reason the service account password changed. I changed the password and then went through each service and selected the service account and manually typed in the password for each. Fixed it. Weird. Anyways thanks for the help.

Did you cahnge the password in the Directory as well? (Configuration tab).

The Service Account should be set for No Expiry, and make sure the password is a strong one.
