Erro while loggin into Citrix via Browser

Hello ,

I am new to Citrix Administration, Please could any one help me out to resolve this problem. When one of the user tries to login, he gets an error as below. However the specified user ID has required access rights on published application.

There was an error:There was an error while encoding a GIF file. The intended destination for the file was: q:\apps\citrix_web\NFuseIcons\Citrix0078x0020PCx0020DUO_1062065425.gif. The error encountered was: java.io.FileNotFoundException. Please make sure that the path exists and the appropriate user account has sufficient permission to write and delete files.

This looks like an older NFUSE error. I think it means that the site has been rebuilt and that the gif file has now got a different name, i,e, the numbers and gobbldy gook before the .gif extention.

But the gif file is present in the same path. Any other ideas are appreciated and helpful to me in a greater extent.

What version of NFUSE / web interface are you running? Can the user actually log into the web interface or does it not even get that far and crash out during authentication?

How do i check the nfuse version ?.. Yes i am running web interface . User is able to login to web interface, soon after he logs in, the error message appears. It looks like authentication happens..

When i remove the particular user from PCDUO published application ACL, then the user is able to login and he gets all the granted published apps in the screen.

When i add the user into the PCDUO published apps ACL, then the user is not able to login.. i feel it could be a problem with PCDUO published application ?.

Please let me know if there is any documentation available to get overview about Citrix functionality.

whats the application you have published and how do you advertise it to the user

is the PCDUO a group in active directory or are you referring to just adding the user to a list of the users allowed to view the applicaiton directly in the Citrix Management Console?

Does PCDUO have any security restrictions on it is it a group thats denied access? can you create a different group (if PCDUO is in MS active directory) add this new group to the list of people who can access the app and then add the user to this group?
