Hi,
We have recently upgraded to XP from NT4 for our development environment. We have a VB6 project group that contains 40-50 projects. This includes custom controls, forms, dll's of which some are COM+ components.

The group loads fine in the VB6 IDE on the new XP environment but as soon as you step into or run the application an "Out of Memory" error occurs after which the application stops running. The IDE does not crash. This was working fine on NT4 over the last 6 years so it must be something to do with XP.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Cheers

Arnaud

Do you have the latest service pack for VB? I think it's Service Pack 6.

In VB, Click Help -> About Microsoft Visual Basic.

The top line of the about window should say something like...

Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 (SP6)

If it doesn't, then you should google search the service pack and install it.
