In epo 2.5.1 its easy to deploy virusscan 7.0 enterprise
i cant figure it out in EPO 3.0 how do i deploy virusscan 7.0 enterprise to a client.

This was what happend before we used epo 2.5.1:
when a user logon to A.D he get a script that
check that the client have the epoagent if not then
its installed, then when the epoagent is on the client
it checks if there is virusscan 7.0 installed if not
then its installed silent.

In EPO 3.0 have the client workin with scripts but
it dosent install virusscan 7.0 isnt it because epo 3.0
handles products deployment different than epo 2.5.1?

In orchestrator you should have a task called deployment. Right click on that task and click "edit task..." then click on settings. It should bring up a separate screen. Uncheck the box next to Inherit. If you have VS 4.5.1 installed on your clients change the action for VirusScan 4.5.1 to remove and then change the action for VirusScan Enterprise 7.0 to install. Once you make those changes, just do an agent wake up and VSE 7.0 will install.

Thanks MATTMSUDAWG:
i figured it out just before you type the message but thanks anyway.

I have another question about deployment:
How do i remove a virusscan from only "ONE" machine?

in epo 2.5.1 you just handled at the director level:
now in epo 3.0 you handle all deployment through
task called deployment, but as i can figure it out
the task deployment is a policy that handles all the
machines in the directory and not specific groups in the directory.

can anyone help me on this question ?

The Deployment task is automatically created at the Directory level, so it is inherited down the line up to individual machine level. If you want to uninstall a program (say VSE 7.0) from a single machine, modify the deployment task for that machine only.
