EpiCenter email alarm fails

EpiCenter 5.0 Alarm fails to send email notifications. Is there a way to Test email notification on EpiCenter?

Tried using different email accounts and still no luck. Uninstalled and reinstalled EpiCenter with Service Pack 3.

Still no luck.

I never could find a test option either, but I did get email notifications to work on 5 sp3. I don't mean to question you...I'll just show (for example) what my settings are:

Go to Alarm button
Alarm Definition tab
Highlight a name (Device Reboot)
Modify
Action
Check Email (and enter email address)
Click on Settings
Enter SMTP host address

Anyway, that's how I get notification of a device reboot.

I found out our exchange server was not allowed to accept incoming smtp traffic from EpiCenter 5.0 server. Works now
