When I use the Enterprise Manager and connect to my ISP, I have to wait quite a long time for the list of all databases on the SQL Server. Nearly 2MB of bytes are downloaded, and I just want connection to my database. Does anyone know if there is a way to tell the Enterprise Manager that I just want information of MY database dowloaded?
Thanks!

Try registering the server in Enterprise Manager using a user that only has access to the database you use.

I'm not sure that's going to help. Even if you don't have rights in a database, you are still authorized to see the databases that exist.

I feel your pain, OJF. I faced the same situation once when I had a database hosted on a Web server. I never found any workaround, but one thing that might help a tiny bit is turn off the option in EM to "show system objects" or some such. -----------------
