Enterprise Email Solution

Can anyone recommend a good enterprise email/calendering solution for linux that's compatible with Outlook clients. I had a look at Suse Openexchange which would have been perfect but since novell i've heard whisper's that SLOX won't be about for much longer.

Did you consider Postfix as your MTA? And possibly Ximian for your mail clients? It is outlook-like and also includes calendaring...

As far as I can see Ximian is only for linux desktops which we don't use

I think Ximian is working on an exchange replacement. You might also try Bynari.
