I'm researching for software to translate employee handbook and other documentation to Spanish from English. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks for any input or direction,
Bsimm

You can execute this search in Google to get quite a list:

Also, you can translate in realtime here:

At one company in which I worked, we used a fairly high-powered, high-priced package to do some translation for menu options and field captions. Even in this simple task, where the options or captions were one to four words, it needed human followup. One example: "Post record" was mistranslated, because the translation software used the word in Spanish for a fence post, rather than the verb. Its not the fault of the software; just a problem of determining context.

Now move from simple phrases to complex documents such as user manuals, and I think you'll still need a human. And if you need a human to proofread it, why not just start and end with a human?

Exactly, our problem is we don't speak spanish. I've found software and had the same word translated differently in multiple translations. If you don't know Spanish, how do you know if it is correct? Thanks for the input.
