I have a cordless that just keeps ringing for no reason. I swapped out the card it is on and it did not change so I don't think it's hardware related.
Here is a print on the TN

Is there something here that could be causing it?

bhassell2000 How do I go about about doing that? I haven't worked in LD 14 before.

if you know the tn of the trunk go to ld 14

req chg
type probably cot ( you can print it out and see what it is)

hit enter until you get to atdn and put in your analog extension number

hit enter until you are back to req prompt

Thanks,

Buddy

Can you give a better description of the "outside box"? Is this a phone at a secured door that you pick up and it auto dials a specific phone or a door system where you push the button for access which dials a specific number? A better description might help in solving this issue.
You can print this trunk in LD 11.

bhassell2000, thank you, that worked great.

trvlr1, thanks for trying, I thought I gave all the deatails, it's the Valcom model listed above and connected to TN 11 7 which is an analog trunk card. There is a print of the card it is on above as well as a print of the cordless phone's TN.

So the problem is all better, however we still don't know what happened. This did occur once before and we moved to another TN. It's odd that swapping out the card did nothing to resolve, but outing and recreating the TN fixed it. Is this possibly hardware related, would it be wise to have a new card on-site in the event this one fails?
