Even if TLS has been enabled in Lan1/VoIP checkmark and certificate loaded (equinox) SIP phones via IPO-DHCP still using TCP as a protocol, what is missing ? (R11.0 SP1)

I think this is the bit I have had to do to use TLS on equinox with a private certificate.

Go to
Login

Go to Settings-->General

Scroll Down to Certificates

Click on Download (PEM-encoded)

Save this file locally.

Rename the file to WebRootCA.pem

Open putty

Connect to iposerveredition on port 22

Login with Administrator.

Type cd .. until at the top directory

Type cd /opt/ipoffice/system and hit enter

Type sudo chmod -R 777 primary and hit enter

Open WinSCP

Connect to iposerveredition on port 22

Login as Administrator

Navigate to opt/ipoffice/system/private

Copy the newly renamed certificate into this directory.

The other setting I do on R11 I believe is just to make the J series use TLS which is done by adding

# J1X9SPECIALS
SET TLSSRVRID 0

to 46xxspecials.txt
