enabling netbios over tcp/ip

Hello

xp does not hold the above setting for our dialup connection, as a consequence cant get network drives mapped over dialup.
any ideas how to force the dialup network properties to hold this setting in WINS ?

once connected with dialip running ipconfig /all confirms that netbios over tcp/ip is DISABLED.

If in doubt get the Ball Pein Hammer out

Netbios does not route.

What are you trying to achieve?
Normally one would use RAS services over a link.

If this is a Terminal Services session, check your options to allow local device mapping, and uncheck the use of the remote proxy for resolving local names.
